OVERVIEW

Established in 2001, PSB Corporation was one of the corporatised subsidiaries of the Singapore Productivity and Standards Board. As one of its communication design partners, we were appointed to design its inaugural quarterly newsletter, Our Podfolio, as a new platform for corporate and marketing communications.

The brief called for a contemporary editorial treatment that would uphold the new brand voice and visual identity while making the newsletter engaging and distinctive. Launched in a unique square format, Our Podfolio later evolved into an A4 portrait format as its content and communication needs grew.

SOLUTIONS

• A distinctive editorial format: We introduced a contemporary square format for the inaugural newsletter, giving the publication a magazine-like character that stood apart from conventional corporate newsletters.
• Brand-led visual consistency: Typography, layout and graphic elements were carefully developed around PSB Corporation’s new visual identity, creating a consistent brand voice across its communications.
• Responsive content design: As the newsletter evolved from quarterly publication to accommodate broader content needs, the editorial design adapted into a more practical A4 portrait format without losing its visual character.

The result is a well-received corporate newsletter that gave PSB Corporation’s new identity greater visibility while establishing a distinctive editorial platform for its communications. Responsive project management and reliable delivery were integral to sustaining the quality of the publication.
