WE LOVE OUR KOPI
PACKAGING ILLUSTRATION
Singapore's kopi culture is unlike any other. Brewed from Robusta beans roasted with butter or margarine and a touch of caramel sugar, every cup is filtered through the iconic cloth "sock" to produce the rich aroma and full-bodied flavour that generations of Singaporeans have grown up with.
More than just a morning pick-me-up, kopi is part of our everyday ritual. From bustling neighbourhood kopitiams to old-school coffee stalls, the familiar sights, sounds and aromas have become woven into Singapore's collective memory.
Yet beneath the colourful names—Kopi O, Kopi C, Kopi Gao, and dozens more—lies a fascinating recipe of proportions and ingredients. How much coffee? How much water? How much milk? And just how many calories are hidden in each familiar cup?
Inspired by these questions, we designed a series of contemporary takeaway cup graphics that reveal the anatomy of Singapore's favourite brews. Each illustration translates nutritional information, ingredient ratios and brewing compositions into a clean, engaging visual language that's as informative as it is delightful.
A visual tribute to Singapore's enduring kopi culture.
