OVERVIEW

MINDS (Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore) is a leading organisation dedicated to supporting persons with intellectual disabilities and fostering greater inclusion within the community. We are proud to contribute to its public communications through the biannual corporate newsletter, MIND Speak.

The requirement was to refresh the newsletter with a more corporate, contemporary and visually engaging approach, while making its content accessible, welcoming and easy to navigate.

SOLUTIONS

• Redesigned masthead: A refreshed masthead gives MIND Speak a more distinctive and contemporary identity.
• Typography and grid system: A considered typographic hierarchy and neater grid create greater clarity, consistency and visual flow across the content-rich publication.
• Bright and cheery themes: A vibrant colour palette is introduced for each issue to create a positive mood and reflect the colourful, meaningful lives of people with intellectual disabilities.

The result is a refreshed MIND Speak that feels more contemporary, cohesive and engaging, with a visual language that celebrates the positive, colourful and meaningful lives of people with intellectual disabilities. The publication gives MINDS a stronger platform to share their stories and connect with the wider community.
