OVERVIEW

Global Tax Free provides tax refund services for international visitors, with its Singapore operation supporting tourists in claiming GST refunds on eligible purchases made from participating retailers. Under Singapore’s Tourist Refund Scheme, eligible tourists can claim a GST refund before departing Singapore through Changi or Seletar Airport.

For its Singapore launch, Global Tax Free needed a clear and accessible suite of marketing collaterals to introduce its service and guide international shoppers through the tax refund process. The materials also needed to work effectively across different customer touchpoints, from retail counters to airport and travel environments.

• Information booklet: Developed an illustrated guide that explains the GST refund process in a straightforward and approachable format, helping tourists understand the steps from purchase to departure.
• Touchpoint collateral: Designed a tent card and wobbler to create immediate visibility at retail touchpoints and direct shoppers towards the tax refund service.
• Illustration and copywriting: Used simple illustrations and concise copy to make procedural information easier to understand, while translation extended the materials’ accessibility to an international audience.
• Print production: Managed the print execution to ensure consistency in colour, typography and production quality across the different collateral formats.

The result is an intuitive point-of-sale and communication system that strips the friction out of tax refunds. By blending clear visual storytelling with strategic placement, the collateral effortlessly guides international travellers at critical decision moments.
